Korean actor Kim Mu Jun faced a wave of attention over comparisons to BTS’s Jin.

The controversy started on June 23, when Kim Mu Jun sat down with OSEN at a café in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul. Fans had been flooding social media, saying Kim Mu Jun looks like Jin.

Kim Mu Jun addressed the comparisons head-on.

“Of course I’ve seen those comments and reactions. I’m just grateful that people view it positively, and since I haven’t met Jin in person, he’s someone I’d like to meet.”

“That’s a great compliment to me. When people asked me about celebrities I’ve always thought were handsome, I always mentioned him. So I’m taking it as a compliment. I think I’ve heard that comparison before, but it became an issue because it attracted more attention and love recently,” he said shyly.
