Lee Min Woo shuts down marriage rumors with Kim Seo Hyung, reveals he’s dating someone else

The controversy started on the March 8, 2026 episode of SBS’s My Little Old Boy. Actor Lee Min Woo directly addressed rumors that he was marrying actress Kim Seo Hyung.

During a casual hangout with actor friends Kim Seung Soo and Go Joo Won, Lee Min Woo cleared the air.

He said a portal site mistakenly listed him and Kim Seo Hyung as a married couple with a specific wedding date of October 6.

“I actually have no personal relationship with Kim Seo Hyung. But the site even had a specific wedding date listed—October 6,” Lee Min Woo said, sharing his frustration.

The actor explained it was a staff mistake and he had to clarify it himself back then.

“I even wondered whether I should apologize, even though it didn’t feel like something I should have to apologize for.”

Lee Min Woo then surprised everyone by talking about marriage.

“Until last year, I strongly felt that I didn’t necessarily need to get married, but I changed my mind and thought I should stay open to the possibility.”

Why the change?

He revealed,

“I might get into trouble for saying this, but I should share anyway. Long story short, I’m currently seeing someone.”

The unexpected confession about his current relationship quickly became the bigger news.
