Actor Seen Battling Loneliness Following Widely Covered Divorce From Famous Wife

Lee Bum Soo is facing renewed attention over his painful divorce as he opens up on My Little Old Boy.

The controversy began when his ex-wife Lee Yoon Jin accused him in March 2024 of fault in their marriage and claimed he had illegal weapons. She also said their daughter was blocked from entering their Seoul home after enrolling in a Bali middle school, and that Lee Bum Soo wasn’t responding to her.

The divorce finalized recently. His agency said in February the split was settled amicably after thorough talks. They denied rumors about Lee Bum Soo and stressed both would support their child going forward.

On the show, Lee Bum Soo revealed how hard it’s been since the breakup.

“As many people know, I went through something personal for the past two to three years.”
“I didn’t want to be in the spotlight over something so sad, painful, and embarrassing. But… It feels like I’ve become completely alone. Being alone was really hard. It was an incredibly difficult time for me.”

The actor’s candid words show the emotional toll the divorce took on him.
