BTS V Returns to Acting: Meet His Female Lead Co-Star

BTS’s V is making a big acting comeback after 10 years.
In 2016, V starred as Seok Han Sung in the historical K-Drama Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth alongside Park Seo Joon and Park Hyung Sik. Since then, he has only acted in BTS content and solo projects—until now.
On April 10, Compose Coffee will release a short film titled That Night, Our Decaf, featuring V as the male lead. The story centers on a late-night chance meeting at a café that sparks a sweet meet-cute between V’s character and the female lead.
The teaser shows V ordering a decaf coffee, then noticing a woman who orders the same drink right after him.

The female lead is actress Park Ji Min, according to the teaser poster. This name is shared by several well-known figures, including BTS member Jimin (Park Ji Min) and singer-host Jamie (Jimin Park).
So, who is this Park Ji Min starring alongside V? Fans suspect she is the theatre actress Park Ji Min, who debuted in 2021 and was born on February 2, 1996—making her one year younger than V.
However, this Park Ji Min reportedly works as an art therapist and speech instructor, according to her Instagram (@iam._.dulcinea) linked on her Namu Wiki page.
Another Park Ji Min is a 34-year-old MBC announcer, but she has not debuted as an actress.
Compose Coffee tagged V in their promotional posts but did not tag Park Ji Min.
Still, fans have tracked down Park Ji Min’s Instagram under the username @parkjininn. She has shared teasers for That Night, Our Decaf and selfies showing her visuals.
At the time of writing, Park Ji Min has fewer than 10,000 Instagram followers, but that number is expected to rise after the short film’s release.
